All our lobster specials from last week will continue throughout the summer. In addition we’ve added some new items:
* Som Tam Pok Pok: “Green Papaya Salad” This is a very popular dish in Thailand. It’s probably the #1 go to dish for most Thai people for lunch. It’s spicy, sweet, tangy, light & refreshing. There are a number of ways to make it. Though it hails from the Isaan region in Thailand, many regions have put their own spin on it. The common ingredients are shredded green papaya (which is tart), dried baby shrimp, fresh garlic, lime juice, bird chili, palm sugar, tomato, green beans & fish sauce. The traditional way to make it is to pound all the ingredients with a wooden mortar & pestle. People call it som tam “pok pok” because of the sound the mortar & pestle makes. We’ve changed it a bit by using gluten-free soy sauce and offering it with shrimp, lobster or soft shell crab.

* Red Sea Platter — this is a bountiful seafood platter with sea scallop, shrimp, haddock & soft shell crab. A red curry infused batter is used and the seafood is coated with panko breadcrumbs and deep-fried. Served with homemade sesame-ginger coleslaw and yellow curry onion rings.
